FREEPORT — Isaiah Ramos, like many high school athletes, hopes to play in college.
But basketball is not just a recreational activity. For Ramos, basketball is a tool to help him stay focused on achieving his goals. Ramos played on the Freeport High School varsity team during the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons and credits basketball with helping him stayed focused to graduate from the Freeport Alternative High School.
