For Chicagoans who rely on the CTA, safety has become a major concern, and more women and girls are speaking up about harassment.
The citywide campaign Protect Women. Period. was created to raise awareness about women and girls safety on public transit and in public spaces.
In the Loop sits down with the founder of the campaign and a violence interrupter to talk about efforts to combat harassment and violence in public space and the shared responsibility of protecting women and girls.
